Windows System Administrator to manage and maintain desktops and servers for our Managed IT services customers in the US market. Maintaining desktop and server systems and peripherals, managing user access to the servers, and maintaining the security and stability of the network. In-depth knowledge of Windows server setup, desktop deployment, application deployment and maintenance and the ability to solve complex IT issues. Ensure smooth running of the company’s networking and server systems, while maintaining a high level of security. Flexibility to work in the US East time zone.

• Providing remote Helpdesk services to US based clients and end-users.
• Knowledge of patch management, application packaging, desktop imaging etc.
• Managing Office 365 tenancy for customers; Azure AD, Office applications, Teams etc.
• Managing Remote Access using VPN, RDS etc.
• Knowledgeable in VMware vSphere based virtual infrastructure
• Knowledgeable in Endpoint protection using Symantec SEP, or other EDR solutions.
• Understanding of enterprise backup technologies like BackupExec, Commvault, Net backup etc
• Understanding of AWS/Azure based cloud infrastructure.
• Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.
• Installing or upgrading Windows systems and servers.
• Providing technical support for staff and back-end system users.
• Troubleshooting system and server errors.
• Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors and system performance.
• Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Proven work experience as a Windows Administrator in an enterprise setting.
• Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ability to create scripts in PowerShell, VBscript, Batch files and similar scripting languages.
• Experience with databases, patch management, and application deployment.
• Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.
• Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
